we had an enrichment day today
as well as career seminar held in sch
the first talk was super boring...
as no one was listening to the speaker
except for kiong
haha
i guess i went to the wrong talk ba
public sector isnt a good choice of my career
so i crashed the finance/ media
media ..although exciting
but not a good job for me either
however,
after listening to the accountancy talk
im quite inspired by it
firstly, i love numbers.
secondly, the hours are quite flexible... donno how to describe
oerhaps it suits me ba
to be an OL
haha....
next up was the social etiquette course given by mr manhunt
wow he was sooo charming and gentleman...
and so professional
well, i guess to maintain that kind of etiquette
is really a total challenge for me
overall , it was real interesting as he was very humourous..
and what most impt is that
i somehow feel a sense of pioneer spirit
the last was the course that i chosen
PILATES
pilates is very different frm yoga
i thought it would be somehow the same
for yoga, the pace is much slower
and they have many many modified forms for pple who cannot perform some of the stunts
i prefer yoga to pilates
pilates focus on strength and endurance
which is not very suitable for me
and it's quite fast paced
yoga is more towards building up certain parts of ur body
to become healthier and stronger i guess
but for pilates... perhaps it just makes u stronger thats all
and the vast most difference is
the breathing patterns are different
for yoga, it's more on diaphragm breathing... but if die die u cannot breathe thru the diaphragm... just perform ur normal breathing...
it suits me more cuz im using diaphragm breathing all the time in my life
(breathing thru cheast is so gan kor...)
for pilates, its sniff-sniff-chew-chew
i don like that la..
i just donno how to breathe
but one similarity is... child pose
haha thats all i can find
i guess i'll stick to yoga.
