Okay at least I have some time to spare and blog... One thing I need to rant about is that I am being unfriendly to the environment by noise polluting and air polluting all the time, whenever, wherever I go. Cough cough cough... shoo away! My coughing style change since something itchy is stuck beneath the back of my throat and it hasn't been cleared yet. Wondering if it is part of my trachea producing some blood or whatever, that stinks. Hope nothing happen and I hope there is no asthma for me. I hope I am not wheezing as I sleep and breathe. I hope my dry cough can recover after almost a week of changed medication. I hope I won't get to visit doctor again about my condition. No more medication! I am sick and tired and afraid of it already. ARH!!! Sorry to those I have constantly disturbed this week.
Few more minutes and I am leaving for dinner with Shelvi at Hall canteen 5! Finally, I can like taste some good and different NTU food? I wanted to go but all my breaks are too limited for me to do so. Oh, I love my mum's lunch box that she has specially wake up early to prepare for me today. Yummy Yum! I love MumMum! Tsktsk... Just came out from my second psychology tutorial at week 5! The tutor asked some questions, terms from the textbook but arh, I haven't read those chapters yet. She called out my name and I just gave some rubbish answer. Oh, and I participated today haha! The activities today seem familiar to me like the counting of Fs and the silk silk silk silk silk, what do cows drink? Milk! Some of the pictures and illusion were interested to look at and explain why we have such perception. Haha, I am looking forward to complete reading all my readings and neglecting my math cores this week, especially when I have 3 quizzes next week. HAHA, good luck to me.
BS 2 is starting in a few hours time. Looking forward to how it will be like. Back to my sem 1 days. Alright, going off!

Logically speaking, I should be excited that I am getting my first ever Ipod touch tomorrow! But beneath me, I don't feel a sense of excitement. Perhaps, the worry of my health and asthma, and the amount of money that goes out again after buying the gadget. However, that's something I want to reward myself after my hardwork all these while. =)
Hope I really recover soon... no more medicine for me!

Went to see the Doc again for the second time. Doctor says I have a little bit of asthma after coughing that irritates my 气管. Worried about it worsening, so, I have to get more rest and try not to get involve in the dusty air outside. For this period of time, it would be just solely focusing on recovering for me...
Cries... cough cough cough cough never ending. I can sense that my cough is recovering but somehow today, my coughing is different from the past few days. I can feel my cough through my chest and lungs, the kind of irritating feeling like something sticking onto my lungs? Well, I better go see the doctor again. I'm like visiting him every month...
This has strongly proven that, I cannot stay out there late nights again. Ample rest is a necessity to me.
Well, today's quiz is like huh? Tutorial Questions, and they are one of those easy ones. He didn't bother to change the numbers... Oh well...

中秋节快乐!
Happy Lantern Festival!
农历生日快乐 to me...
This seems quite meaningful to me as my birthday instead of my english birthday.
The moon is bright on this day, children carrying lanterns and playing candles around, 猜灯谜,赏月, 吃月饼, a great opportunity for a family gathering with lotsa fun. However, this seems like long long time ago when I truly enjoyed such festival when I am still young back in Malaysia. Now, it's like, a rush dinner for me to get over everything and back to studies again.
The news report that tonight's moon is too small because it's too far away from the earth =(... wonder how it will be like one year more? My 21'st birthday!

Okay I woke up at 6.55 am today, coughing badly. I sat on the sofa for half an hour, thinking of whether I should be a very diligent student and listen to lectures today, or I should be a good girl and see the doctor, stay at home to rest. Then, I think health is more important than the scary psychology lectures, linear algebra lecture (arh no I can't miss it, thank goodness it's an hour today), and the no use 215 lecture with the prof (don't like to see him, rather see prof B.S) and calculus tutorial. So I have decided to go and see doctor and stop being stubborn and think that heaven will cure my cough.
I should have already detect that my cough, once again, is due to my super sensitive nose and took precaution measures. However, til then, my nose seems to be alright. Medicine and consultation costs more than $30. I need more tuition to cover up my expenses and upcoming sign language course.
It's week 4 yet. Still, my lessons are not fully utilized yet. With cancellations of tutorials here and there for the past 3 weeks, and upcoming project work to be done. Hai, I have seriously no time for other things. Lotsa week 2 and week 3 stuff not yet catch up or done.
I have voiced out my opinion to my centrehead of taking a short break away from CCA, still I have to go back for tuition every Saturday. However, from next year onwards, I am a adhoc member! The thing I worried for is Sheryl, other than that, nothing much to keep too. Not forgetting sign language and friends, I am still a member of RSPHI. Just that, I need a break to 养好身子.
Week 3 is really a horror week, and again, I failed. Failed to keep my health going on despite the busy schedule, studies too. Flunk the test like don't know what business, readings and readings. From this week onwards, I shall be a student, go school study, go home dinner, go school study, go home dinner. No more extra stuff for me. Thank goodness, I gave up the thought of watching Olivia Ong today. I am still as weak as ever. Sorry Polar Bears and Woodpeckers, couldn't join you guys for the upcoming outings.
Hopefully I will be well by tomorrow, however, I have the thought of skipping calculus lecture and linear tutorial tomorrow. What is happening to me? Skipping lessons, skip and skip.

It's end of week 3 and yet I am sooooo behind time! Many undone psychology readings from lecture 1 till now. If I still don't start reading by this week. Then I can forget about my minor in psychology already. Of course, many lectures and tutorials yet to catch up. With that super cui quiz results, and another one more coming up.
No more outings!!! Outings and outings are like crosses to the free days on my calender.
I took 22 AUs last year and 20 AUs this year. But why is it that my timetable this year looks as packed as last year? With minimum breaks in between and yet it still looks like working hours.
Thankfully my horror week is over. However, my coughing never fails to persist.

Universal Studios
After a day of shag lessons, we still went on to universal studios for a YOG appreciation night.
Lessons today was okay, I thought I am late but I'm not. We have got quite a number of breaks in between so we managed to dabao for lunch. Actually I was quite paiseh because there was a whole group of people just waiting for our table, waiting for the slow me to finish eating. I guess I need to really fasten my speed for eating, that cannot go on anymore. I was so bored after listening to alien notations, played few rounds of monopoly on and off before my lesson. I was a little late for my Malay, but we sang Rasa Sayang today. Learn abit about the song and pantun. HAHA! Then I went on to Psychology tutorial, my first tutorial in a weird place. We played some icebreaking game and my partner happened to sit beside me. We happened to have the same surname, and I happened to read her article in Nanyang Chronicle before, about a Malay student who graduated from Chinese Major in NTU. Then I end up in the same tutorial class with my fellow schoolmates and junior. (Kinda sianned diao but ya... ) Found out that so many people in my class dislikes cats, I am so disappointed. Hmm, I guess my path in HP101 will be a tough one to go. Firstly, the prof researches on Bio neuro science, which means that there is a high possibility that most of the stuff covered will be on that. Memorising and stuff turns me off. Actually the reason why I took Psychology other than understand human behaviour, which is like so cliche reason. I like it because it is a social science subject, that is more applicable to the world. I should have said it in class but forget. Adding HP102 together, gone case this sem. ARH!
Then we waited for everybody to arrive before moving off to universal studios. The journey there was frustrating as we took a long time waiting for the bus to sentosa to come. As a result, we were late for an hour. I was kind of turned off and tired, but the whole thing went okay. The lightings, buildings and decorations were an eye opener. We went to eat some fast food, worth of $9.60 but we had meal vouchers too. Then we proceeded to walk around and take some rides. The first ride we took was the mummy ride at Ancient Egypt. Unique as I have experienced after years of not going on a roller coaster, with the kind of 4D effect. Then we take photos and proceed to Far Far away, we went in for the Shrek 4D show. HAHA! Amazing to have seen 3D plus water effects and all, I still feel kinda disgusted when water sprayed at us just as when the donkey sneezes at us directly at our faces. Then we moved on to some other rides like roller coaster and merry go round. The queue, surprisingly was long but the waiting time was not too bad as I expected. Some places were not opened yet like Madagascar and the galazy roller coaster ride. We didn't go onto the Water World as well. However, time flies and it's time for me and Karen to rush back to interchange to catch our last train but before that we still manage to collect the goodie bag which I think was quite worth it, just that no more F1 tickets as others wish.
My favourite place was the Ancient Egypt, with mummies and all... which is the most unique of other more common ones like Jurassic park and the Lost World. If I were to come back again, it will be very long time after that when everything was opened. The tickets are also expensive too! Well I don't mind paying 5 buck again to just see see the outer part.
Nice experience with good company =) YOG Rocks!
By the way, listening to Accidentally in Love reminds me that, I heard this song at the Shrek place just now at universal studios too! If anybody was there to sign this song with me.. haha!
Luckily, lessons start at 130pm for me, with tutorials undone. GG!

My decision to get up for exercise is always a jinx for the day's weather. Everytime I want to go exercise, it rains. -_-" Therefore, I wasted the whole morning, sleeping and playing with my mum.
Please let me pull through this week safe and sound! Sore throats again, diarrhoea just now.. Aiyo! I cannot stand myself this weak. Tutorials still yet to catch up. Readings yet to complete. CCA is never ending. Sometimes I wish I have 8 days a week, with 3 days of weekends. Better right?
If only time can be traded...
I realised I don't have much time to study this week too. Sunday. Please don't touch my Sunday if not I'm gonna bite people up!
Welcome Tea Welcome Tea. Classes are cancelled today, so I have a free day. Yay!

the terrible week is starting
After mugging for like continuously for 3 days, I feel very exhausted to study for quiz tomorrow! Because simply I don't know what kind of questions will come out for the quiz. Proving? Finding limits? Explaining why .... implies ... ? First quiz of year 2 sem 1, and I got one question wrong even for the online quiz.
I hope everything goes well for the quiz. And that's only the first hurdle for this week. Hopefully I cross this big hurdle well and fine. Many things still undone, and I am kinda distracted by Diner Dash, searching for itouch features, facebook, surf net and all sort of things! Looks like I dislike studying for tests, especially subjects that require me to memorize. This proves that last minute studying is no good for me.

Another busy week ahead!
Went home late yesterday after song sign practice, feeling very nausea and aching in my throat, maybe I laughed alot at the practice which was super funny at times. It was a public holiday today but I decided to give the practice a miss because morning sickness heads in again. Better rest before it's too late. Not that kind of morning sickness! But I always feel vomitting at my throat, too dry or something that I have the urge and sensation to vomit out the gas inside my stomach, after many times of yawning. Weird, people do have morning sneezing problems and yet I have this kind of morning nauseous.
This confirms another thing, hectic schedules are my taboo. But the next week is packed for me. Monday have 211 quiz worth of 4%, had an online quiz to complete by tomorrow 1130pm, worth of 1% (2 out of 3 answers right). Then night song sign practice. Tuesday a rest day. Wednesday, thanks to union day, but welcome tea at night. Thursday going to universal studios. Friday having recruitment interview. Luckily the 215 quiz was postponed. Saturday RSPHI tuition resumes. Sunday rest!
Hope I can finish this week fast. But thanks to my long weekend of nothing, study my 211 quiz well and that's it. Study my cores and psych and malay well before the week starts. Talking about Malay, my mum was super frustrated with me today when I tried to converse with her in Malay. HAHA!
I have officially replaced Simon over the post of programmer in VOC. Luckily most of the planning has been done. Sometimes I ask myself, already so busy coping with studies and CCA and tuition, am I asking for more trouble? Well, I guess in university, studies is really important for me, but at the same time, I need to get alife with some CCA programmes in school. Otherwise, uni life will be very boring indeed.
Wish me good luck!

Finally, like after one month?
I get to do some exercising today before school. How nice is it to have afternoon lessons when you can go for a morning exercise before going to classes. However, it never fails to rain whenever I want to go exercise. But, I get to ran two rounds.
Went for my first psychology HP102 tutorial. Before that, I went to the union fair to get two tee shirts which caught my eye yesterday. What would catch my eye? Of course, it's CATS! Cute cat designs, I love to wear cats on me, decent ones please.
I was so lucky to get Dr Catherine as my tutor, heard that she was good and nice! She presented on introduction the course outline. Next, was library orientation. I think it is useful for me because I don't know what is going on the library in the first year. So at least I undergone a proper introduction. SPMS should organise one. Well, maybe I am too lazy to go for one at the LWN.
When Dr. Catherine is talking about union day, I suddenly realise something which I should be happy about! Next Wed is union day, classes are cancelled from 1030 to 230. And my com lab which I dreaded about, is from 1030 to 1230. So it's cancelled! And my HP102 tutorial is cancelled too but I have a 10 min questionnaire which needed to be completed. Well, coming all the way from school to complete a ten min quiz? Luckily, I have welcome tea that day so my trip is not wasted!

Conditional Probability
Here is the start of week 2. I went for my very first psychology lecture and it was so interesting, thanks to the prof who walked around and talk at the same time, without using the mike, and he can be louder than others who used the mike. I guess it was a good start to start the day off with an instrumental piece played by piano and cello, Taylor Swift's Love Story. However, because he was so interactive, I didn't quite dare to eat my breakfast in front of him. How I wish my core lecturers are as interesting as him, instead of just rattling notations and numbers off from the slides. =_="
Since we are doing conditional probability today, and I am teaching probability for tuition as well. Here's something I found from my worksheet and share it to you all:
Conditional Probability = False sense of security?
A stats professor plans to travel to a conference by plane. When he passes the security check, they discover a bomb in his carry-on-baggage. Of course, he is hauled off immediately for interrogation.
"I don't understand it!" the interrogating officer exclaims. "You're an accomplished professional, a caring family man, a pillar of your parish - and now you want to destroy that all by blowing up an airplane!"
"Sorry," the professor interrupts him. "I had never intended to blow up the plane."
"So, for what reason else did you try to bring a bomb on board?!"
"Let me explain. Statistics show that the probability of a bomb being on an airplane is 1/1000. That's quite high if you think about it - so high that I wouldn't have a peace on mind on a flight."
"And what does this have to do with you bringing a bomb on board of a plane?"
"You see , since the probability of one bomb being on my plane is 1/1000, that chance that there are two bombs is 1/10000000. If I already bring one, the chance of another bomb being around is actually 1/10000000, and I am much safer..."
HAHAHA!
Another one:
Are Mathematicians optimists?
A mathematician is flying non-stop from Edmonton to Frankfurt with AirTransat. The scheduled flying time is nine hours. Some time after taking off, the pilot announces that one engine had to be turned off due to mechanical failure: "Don't worry - we're safe. The only noticeable effect this will have for us is that our total flying time will be ten hours instead of nine."
A few hours into the flight, the pilot informs the passengers that another engine had to be turned off due to mechanical failure: "But don't worry - we're still safe. Only our flying time will go up to twelve hours."
Some time later, a third engine fails and has to be turned off. But the pilot reassures the passengers: "Don't worry - even with one engine, we're still perfectly safe. It just means that it will take sixteen hours total for this plane to arrive in Frankfurt."
The mathematician remarks to his fellow passengers: "If the last engine breaks down, too, then we'll be in the air for twenty-four hours altogether!"

宽恕
It was so funny today when actually the crowd was hyped up by Ivy instead of Shen mu yu tong. The 3 of them on stage didn't get what we are laughing at. Then finally Ivy found out that everybody was laughing at the way she laugh. So that was the 笑点 that we are laughing about. I think concerts are the best time for NTU people to bond together.
I enjoyed listening to singers sing at that kind of standard I never get to achieved. I was quite amazed by the female singer. However, both of them don't look the same as in the photo.
This was the second concert I watch in NTU, well, it could have been better...

I enjoyed listening to singers sing at that kind of standard I never get to achieved. I was quite amazed by the female singer. However, both of them don't look the same as in the photo.
This was the second concert I watch in NTU, well, it could have been better...
