After a day of shag lessons, we still went on to universal studios for a YOG appreciation night.
Lessons today was okay, I thought I am late but I'm not. We have got quite a number of breaks in between so we managed to dabao for lunch. Actually I was quite paiseh because there was a whole group of people just waiting for our table, waiting for the slow me to finish eating. I guess I need to really fasten my speed for eating, that cannot go on anymore. I was so bored after listening to alien notations, played few rounds of monopoly on and off before my lesson. I was a little late for my Malay, but we sang Rasa Sayang today. Learn abit about the song and pantun. HAHA! Then I went on to Psychology tutorial, my first tutorial in a weird place. We played some icebreaking game and my partner happened to sit beside me. We happened to have the same surname, and I happened to read her article in Nanyang Chronicle before, about a Malay student who graduated from Chinese Major in NTU. Then I end up in the same tutorial class with my fellow schoolmates and junior. (Kinda sianned diao but ya... ) Found out that so many people in my class dislikes cats, I am so disappointed. Hmm, I guess my path in HP101 will be a tough one to go. Firstly, the prof researches on Bio neuro science, which means that there is a high possibility that most of the stuff covered will be on that. Memorising and stuff turns me off. Actually the reason why I took Psychology other than understand human behaviour, which is like so cliche reason. I like it because it is a social science subject, that is more applicable to the world. I should have said it in class but forget. Adding HP102 together, gone case this sem. ARH!
Then we waited for everybody to arrive before moving off to universal studios. The journey there was frustrating as we took a long time waiting for the bus to sentosa to come. As a result, we were late for an hour. I was kind of turned off and tired, but the whole thing went okay. The lightings, buildings and decorations were an eye opener. We went to eat some fast food, worth of $9.60 but we had meal vouchers too. Then we proceeded to walk around and take some rides. The first ride we took was the mummy ride at Ancient Egypt. Unique as I have experienced after years of not going on a roller coaster, with the kind of 4D effect. Then we take photos and proceed to Far Far away, we went in for the Shrek 4D show. HAHA! Amazing to have seen 3D plus water effects and all, I still feel kinda disgusted when water sprayed at us just as when the donkey sneezes at us directly at our faces. Then we moved on to some other rides like roller coaster and merry go round. The queue, surprisingly was long but the waiting time was not too bad as I expected. Some places were not opened yet like Madagascar and the galazy roller coaster ride. We didn't go onto the Water World as well. However, time flies and it's time for me and Karen to rush back to interchange to catch our last train but before that we still manage to collect the goodie bag which I think was quite worth it, just that no more F1 tickets as others wish.
My favourite place was the Ancient Egypt, with mummies and all... which is the most unique of other more common ones like Jurassic park and the Lost World. If I were to come back again, it will be very long time after that when everything was opened. The tickets are also expensive too! Well I don't mind paying 5 buck again to just see see the outer part.
Nice experience with good company =) YOG Rocks!
By the way, listening to Accidentally in Love reminds me that, I heard this song at the Shrek place just now at universal studios too! If anybody was there to sign this song with me.. haha!
Luckily, lessons start at 130pm for me, with tutorials undone. GG!
