Overall of my CT results

hai i just need to get this off my head
my grades are interesting
ABCDE
a for Math
B for Phy
C for Chem
D for Econs
E for GP

anyway i expected a C for chem
cuz without chem.. my report card will read ABDE
so i need to get a C to complete the sequence
and i expected it
anyway mr chan gave us a box of chocolates
for those students with A to C
and i was quite happy la
BUT I DONNO WHY I GAVE THAT CHOCOLATE AWAY TO SHAUN CHONG

maybe because i think i din do well to deserve that box of chocolates
so i gave it away
and i didnt think of giving it to my family members instead
despite the fact that i don like sweet stuff
how unfilial i am to NOT give it to my parents..
should have kept it for them..

everytime when i got back my results i will have the urge to tell my parents
how well i fare so as not to let them worry
i obviously don want history to repeat itself
history as in
that time i cause them much worry when i MIA for few hours after i got back my results
cuz i din call back to at least comfort them i did well for my o lvls

i donno why everytime like that
as in i have the eagerness to tell my parents abt my results
but not sharing the joy of getting the reward with them
its not anybody's fault
but in me..
im too selfish..

i guess i will have to buy one more box for chocolate for them
in order to console myself...
feel so regret after answering my mum's call from malaysia
and having to let her hear me giving away the chocolate make me feel uncomfortable

a disaster week

why do i say this is a disaster week??
it's so scary cuz we're getting back our common test results...
i don think i fare well enough for this paper

let me update about common test

the first paper we got back was chem mcq
mcq was a killer paper
but i managed to scrape a pass 20/40
just passed rite??
i was thinking what for study when pple can just tikam to get higher marks than us

then we got back math
but before the results were released
pple alr heard that s25 got 100% A and B
and we hit our target!
we were so happy...

mdm ong came in with a smile even before she stepped into the room
i got an A - 94!
but there're pple with higher marks than me
but pple with as low as single digit..
i wonder how they perform during exam

so we were shouting " polo tee.. polo tee"
hoping to ask a teacher to speak up for the ban in polo tee during tues, thurs

got back GP paper
as usual i din do well..
but our class has a B
and that's zhiying our 仙女!

luckily mrs beh said 22/50 will be reflected as an E on the results..
whew... i guess i MUST improve on GP

phy was a killer
we first got back paper 1
i managed to scrape thru again with 11/20
then we got back paper 2 where mdm ong wasnt too happy with our results
as we're underperforming..
but i got a B!

rather than me getting a just pass for my physics when i was in sec 3 and 4

next was econs
the cohort din do well
but i managed to just pass...
a D for overall..

we're still waiting for chem results..
teacher's not here....

there's chem prac today..
a Jap girl joined our class to tour around
with the accompany of yanting and shiyun
but our guys are so misbehaving
we talk crap during the whole of prac too
but i just feel very paiseh cuz i knocked into the Jap girl accidentally
though it's accidental when i turned back, but i don feel good cuz ultimately the class is not playing a good host..

everybody's worried about their results...
but common test is the first major exam we're taking in this year
it's not too late to really start mugging!!!

well,
there's sirius icebreaking session today
i teamed up with jian lin and there're only the both of us who were j2s
we played quite alot of games
games which have been played again and again..
especially the acting
i'm seriously not a cut for it..
that wei an and dong tai bully me!!!

a busy day today cuz i walked around the whole school finding people
to eric's friend from odac: u good arh, use the soccer ball and hit me!

thinking abt the scholarship workshop thingy
don have enough finance to cover for the course
and thinking of scholarship interview..
i think it's just sheer hope for me
cuz there'll be others doing better

and i practically waited for my og members til 8 pm where most of the ccas ended their trainings
im dead hungry
so we went to BPP today with the fellow poly mates
then i lost seow huan on the way..
donno if they all manage to find her..
so worried....

we went into an hong kong restaurant to have our dinner
next to the kopitiam
so sad my order was the last to come when i'm the first to order
i practically stared at everyone's dishes
and everybody was playing PSP before dinner
can u believe it??
everybody has his or her own set of PSP!
see how rich kids are...



another tiring week ahead
i'm the vice cap of byron house
i doubt anyone knows about it
even the pe teacher couldn't believe it
i think they chose the wrong person already..
really wrong person..
when i cannot lead well and do sports related things well
and then i receive those mails regarding many many stuffs for annual track and field meet
which i don understand at all
and then there's movie marathon and amazing race coming up
my saturdays are going to be burnt..

april will be a busy month for me
as well as those having competitions for sports' cca and performing arts....

Break ≠ Holiday

i thot i have an additional day of break today
but we still have to go back for einstein cradle dry run

im doing on a light expt
the ideas were gotten from the internet
so i think its kinda boring..

anyway
the process is abit slow and too much of waiting time
and i don think im a good leader
cuz everybody is hurrying after me what to do next where instructions are not properly conveyed
at least we are kinda sucessful after many tries of expt using different ways...

after that we went for lunch (me and yt and the guys)
at long john
oh no i dislike fastfood
then wing kiong showed us many tricks...
which he used to cheat other pple...

we went to dex's house after that
thinking that i can play some games there
oh but before that
i am sooo happy to have exchanged my favourite plush persian cat
with 15 stamps at shop and save
thanks for my aunt who supplies me with the rest of the 14 stamps!
saying me childish after this kind of thing
but they instead stood infront of the display and discuss which one is nicer...



watch shaun and weiwen played soccer
history repeats itself of man-u against liverpool...
first match: 8 - 0
shaun won most of the time
weiwen kept collecting cards throughout
but he did win lah..

i left at 330..
for the india meeting
well..
so little pple turned up
actually i don have to come either..
but ... im listed to the performers..
no choice...

its raining heavily when im leaving the school
the bus came so late..
i sent 3 of my friends off for 190
but my bus hasnt reached yet

985 is always so long..
i shall bear with it for another 8 months

kinda relaxed after common test.

Common Tests are Over!

after 4 days of hard mugging...
CT is over!

first paper of the term is econs
econs is a killer paper
although we may know what will come out for the paper
but we are still unsure and not confident abt the content

i think im alright for the case study
at least i won fare so badly
as compared to last time round
where i got 4/25 for my case study
thats so pathetic la

but for the essay
its a killer

first paper already like that
so demoralising
but nvm
im not affected by it

next is math
haha.. as usual lor.
i practice before the night
then i come to the hall and do..
i think it is slightly more difficult than the revision package
but it is similar
still can manage
it has many tricks
like for 1 question where they ask u to find roots for complex numbers
a+ib
find values of a and b
its like not all values i have found (2 values of a and 2 for b)
are applicable to the equation
so must sub in and double check
don understand arh???
forget it la haha i may be talking nonsense

i took up to 2 hours to complete it
which is kinda taking own sweet time already
then i felt very very restless cuz i kept drinking water
then wanting to chiong to the toilet

3 hours long leh
but nvm i like the hall
can observe other pple
hahahaha

next is physics
for the previous day i spent the whole afternoon and night doing my tys
i hope it helps
finally i got some light towards solving physics
after the paper i realise i got alot of wrongs
mistakes which i, initially, didnt think of and realise it
it was yanting who keep inducing me to realise
"erh.. why didnt i think of that??"

last paper was chem
the mcq is a killer
i got questions where i know i can solve it
but i just donno
not enough time la

wasted chance to ace
cuz i thot i have ample time to finish all
then i take my own sweet time to do the organic section A
when i reach organic story telling
its like 20 mins left...
oh gosh.. i think im gonna flunk cuz i don have time to do
so i rush thru
the story telling i can score for that part
but i think i rushed so no time no write properly
the nitro cpds question worse still

u know for this 4 days
i didnt sleep well cuz i was SO afraid that i wont wake up
my stupid alarm clock is just not reliable
so i didnt really dare to sleep deep
cuz during the first econs paper
my alarm din ring at 515..
i wake up like 545 (which means that i overslept 1/2 an hour!)
but its still early.. i din have time to read finish my econs
i was also angry with my papa cuz i asked him to wake me up when he was awake
but then he 自作主张 thought i needed more sleep
and he planned to wake me up before he LEFT the house
luckily this is common test
if its a lvls i'll die
kinda angry with him and myself lah....
so it actually affected my mood somehow for the first paper
but it was my fault anyway

so...
i only slept abit later on the day of math
other than that i only have abt 5 hours of sleep..

after the paper the 5 of us went out

we went town
wanting to catch the movie rule #1
but the tix is too ex
so we planned to watch on monday where we have NO SCH!

me and shiyun stood on the bus throughout the whole journey to town
kinda bouncy but fun

we ate our lunch at HONGKONG CAFE
i was so hungry that i ordered this luncheon meat rice
mine was the first to come!
but i din eat cuz its not too nice to eat first
then i realise the menu has my favourite western food

but nvm....
at least i eat to my fil
then i went to eat ASTA's chicken
WeiQi's chicken skin and her cucumber
so greedy ya??? don waste ma

that explains why my size is soooo.. like that...

we went shopping around
took neoprints
we actually wanted the other machine but
due to some inconsiderate pple who cut into our queue
we settle for this funny machine

we came across this guinness book
then we manage to find singapore
the 4th hottest city in the world
average temp 30 degree celsius
then we came across this book
a guide to singlish
which listed those singlish phrases that we commonly used most of the time
it really makes us laugh
cuz it reflected on how we teens speak everyday
kinda interesting

we went up to the toy shop
and play with interesting toys
they are made for children
using certain phy concepts
these toys are different from those cartoons, dolls, lego
but i donno why i 鸡手鸭脚 keep dropping things
well.. i must be too nervous..
stress?? something's wrong with me

we stayed there for quite long....
til my mum called me and asked me back

so blur me and yanting walked a long way to the bus stop
while the 3 of them went pacific plaza
its a half an hour ride from town to panjang..
well at least we talked non stop all the way..

it's been a time since i last came town with my friends.

15 March OG 6 Outing

i went bfast with my parents at MAC today..
then i helped out at the Ang Bao exhibition at the CC with my mum
wow.. i really see some interesting Ang Baos..

after that i met up with my fellow og mates at city hall
the organiser told everyone not to be late
in the end almost everyone was late
so me tunjiang and cedric went walking around the shopping mall for around an hour or so

then carissa, jiahui and sally met us for lunch at subway
we chatted alot at subway..
while i was studying my chem notes...
its like common test is around the corner...
i realise i haven started any solid studying...

after that xinyi and benny joined us
we separated into 2 groups
cedric tunjiang sally and xinyi went pool

while me benny carissa and jia hui went shopping

haha my lousy pool skills... how to play with people

well anyway im not a shopping girl..
so i followed them around
trying to find some good food
then i bought a green tea from jollybean
the green tea is originated from japan
it tastes abit..
different

benny chatted with us and entertain us alot..
i find that it's quite a pity nt to stay in a jc to discover his potential..

actually i wanna leave for home...
but i stayed on for dinner...
dinner at food court..
i ate the same old thing again

after that the girls want to look for sth at suntec city
but the j2s and sally went back...
hmmm i guess after this time
we wont have anytime to meet up again
cuz everybody will be busy with his or her own stuffs and walking down their different path

MOE-NTU Econs Seminar

this is the first week of my holiday
but then on the first day...
i have to wake up real early to meet my fellow classmates
to go for this MOE- NTU seminar
mind u we paid $10 ok??


the guys dex and weizhong
as usual
they are always late...
but luckily it started at 9
but there is no need to register...
actually we can just walk in as and when we like lor
pay also no use..

well anyway the talks were rather interesting
but it's of a higher difficulty

after the break
oh im so hungry
we left for the NTU open house
all without asta

so we took a long walk to the school of biomedical science
passby a sandwich vending machine
how i wish there's one in pj
then can have more variety and more convenient food

as we step into the grounds of the event
the guy up on the stage gave us a really WARM welcome
he greeted us over the mike
HELLO FELLOW PIONEERS
cuz he saw us wearing uniforms...
but actually we are gere for seminar...
we came here to crash...

the NTU people bombarded us with alot of stuffs
like brochures, magazines
and a bag

we went for a lab tour at aerospace lab
it was quite interesting though
with the friendly students and professors
we chatted with the students
and they were curious why are we in our sch unis...
we said, "cuz we like pioneer so much.."
hahaha...

we went to take a look at the engineering part
and the aerospace museum and the hall of fame

we interacted with the student ushers
but it was the first time i knew that dexter is so particular abt food..

anyway the prof also gave us alot of advices
to study hard for Alvls..
if not our next 80 years will go down the drain
hmm everyone is saying that...
but has anyone realise the importance to mug now???

then we ate again...
its like after 2 hours since we started the lab tour..

then jian lin and yanting wanted to go back for the econs seminar
while the 4 of us wanted to take a look at the school of mathematical sciences
but then...
the sch hasnt been ready yet..
waste my time and effort..
we went to take a look at the school of biology and physics..

everyone is feeling tired..
they went back.
while i went back for econs..
i don want to waste my money and time either..

today is a long day

i just feel like sleeping in the morning...

7 March Common Test Starts

Common Test Starts today
GP is my weakest subject

i think i gained much during the last GP lesson...
i hope i'll do better this time round
at least a pass

today is the release of A lvl results
after our common test
we went to lot one for lunch
and come back after lunch

as i step into the school
i start to feel nervous and emo abt my chinese results
before the A lvl paper
before the promo
i started to feel complacent abt it

but i m afraid that it will kill me

starting to look at the results
im so envious abt the straight As
and those 100% passes
see already can stress out
but i believe i can do it!

anyway i am the last to get my chinese results
so i am the most nervous of all
but i clinched an A
a Merit for oral..

i kinda disappointed with my oral..
i have high expectations of my chinese
cuz my mum's command of mandarin is fantastic

does that mean that my oral skills and speaking is not that good???
i m worried for my future

but after a chat with yanting and my mum
i feel much better
cuz it actually mean that my writing skills are better

i thot my mum wont be happy with my results
but indeed she encourage me
and said i did well!!!

then i heaved a sigh of relief...
yes one hurdle cross!
waiting for my pw results...
