wake up early in the morning to attend this lecture with ms valerie tan, mr steve poh and mr kum. i thot i would at least gain something useful about statistics. but it seems that all speakers there are the same. its like attending another science focus again.
the first half of the lecture was quite alright. its interesting. after lunch time (which was being delayed by a prof) the lecture given was bored. its like promoting why the company is good etx without going straight to the point abt analytics. at least val and me think that its not useful but the other two guys found it interesting. and i dozed off awhile. then sms-ed yanting when i was caught by val. haha. like being conned. my 30 bucks =( while at least i get to experience how NUS lecture is going on. and also the culture. have to climb alot alot alot of stairs. arghh...
after which we went off to holland village to chill out. walk walk walk around the place still deciding on what to eat. finally decided on thai express which we have passed by alot alot of times. ate some finger food and i ordered a watermelon and lime freeze! talked abt certain stuff. not convenient to enclose it here. but it just makes me quite confused. politics
my father is returning today! haven seen him for close to a month.
