Freshmen Welcome Ceremony

went for this freshmen welcome ceremony. i don even know that there is this event apart from the SPMS orientation. until somebody told me. it isn't bad afterall. but some performances are really.... but i think the idea of the lighting of torches is somewhat interesting. there's this freshman gown, which gives me this itchy feeling all over. wanna take a photo but we feel so paiseh!

after that we went for the SPMS orientation. there's this lady who voice is so irritating and 自high-ing. wanted everybody in the LT to self introduce. and those people who already know each other will also high themselves. it's damn lame... we cant wait for everything to start. finally it started, but we cant hear anything cuz the presenter and the mike were both soft. we couldnt catch anything that he said. was quite fed up by the noise. but luckily there's powerpoint slides.

after that there's the individual courses talk. nth much. talked abt the usual general and common sense stuff. what we really want to hear is, those info abt how to register courses. the various types of electives. abit useless. end up playing with zy gal drawing funny pics

went to student services centre to collect our tertiary passes. before that i've collected my matriculation card, and i'm the only in MAS whose surname is YEONG! nicenice.. i really love my photo! we keep giggling when both zy wrote their names one time after another. so the lady was saying 'girls love to giggle' to zy guy.HAHA

we spent alot alot of effort trying to find that place. ask for the help desk but apparently we thought they gave the wrong directions. see map also got problem. so ended up asking for directions from some staff. finally they gave us the correct directions.
it's like 'we will NV get there..' we have a long long way to go... stef sun 's nat day song.HAHA

after that i went to zhiying's house to visit mimi! mimi has grown heavier! and naughtier.. running about the house and trying to play hide and seek with us.haha. had a hard time luring the cat out to put in the cage. and sorry for not holding the cat properly. and letting the cat off. delaying the meeting time with the class. poor weiwen waited at the bus interchange when he actually thought we took bus 11. the BUS

they were at fig & olive. for once i thot karen was saying.. snake & olive. what kind of shop is that??? haha... but it was a fun fun session with them! cuz i really really laughed out loud. esp when we said something abt the AT. i really do treasure the times with them. cuz we spent alot of time tgt. studying. overcoming challenges and also gossiping. and laughing abt stupid things. thats JC life! JC kids!

went to walk around JP. they wanted to watch UP but. i'm tired le, next day have to go sch. and im not interested in that movie!! sorry... went to walk around NTUC. donno for wad. haha. then we headed home. nice outing. but the food not that good.
