what a wonderful BS class today!

had a nice jog today with mum. then after that to sch. we actually wanted to collect the SU exam welfare package but there is a whole lot bunch of people taking the stuff one by one and collect it to form a package. we have a lecture going on and just forget it. lecture was fine today.

after that i went for my BS class. i thought i was late for my BS class. but i walk in the tutorial room and find that there is other people inside. and also i went up with another instructor. he also blur blur, when's the class starting. how come still nobody? so i told the others to leave the place cuz we have signing lessons. not bad. i still can communicate with freddie. haha.

i was alone in the tutorial room. what a nice place. i look out of the windows. i see the school of mechanical and aerospace engineering. further down i notice the graduate hall, and the other halls. and also the jurong island. a very nice scenery i thought. calms one's mind.

then after that simon came in, "eh. ni yi ge ren arh?" i was like, "yeah lor i thought i was late. but come up nobody leh". i don want to stay alone in the class. outside got some seniors but go out also very weird. =( soon after that karmun came in with the confused look, how come so little people? haha. then 10 mins past 7, huiyuan came in. and thus lily our instructor came in. also very puzzled. then, isaac came late with a bag of mcdonalds. ok, u can count. there are only 5 of us. what happen to the rest? still have lessons going on!

today we learn abt time. quite little words. not that many to learn. then we practise on phrases and sentences. and signed paragraphs. oh but before that, we received our results slip. as usual, my name was the last. and both me and issac got full marks! yey.. congrats! so the result slip shows: class test:100%. remarks: able to proceed to next stage. of course, i would want to go to BS 2 , 3 and up...

soon after we finished signing. lesson is still not over yet. there's time, lily taught 2 classes song signing. and she showed us her own interpreted song, if we hold on together. this is a song that my primary sch would sing every teacher's day. it's a very touching song. and the way she expressed the song using signing and gestures. it's so touching. karmun and me regretted not recording down the song. she does it with that kind of touch to the bottom of the heart. i looked at her with my eyes unblinked, so not to miss any of her expressions and moves. what a very good way to express a song thru song signing. i love it to the core! at least, i get to see her performance.

then after freddie finished his lesson. all of the three classes played a simple game. pass down the message. it was SOOOO funny to see guys performing infront conveying the gestured message.
first step: wear a long dress, long sleeved, zip the back of the dress
second step: open the make up case, apply make up to ur first, close the case and place it back
third step: apply lipstick. arh... not with the modern lipSTICK. it's those ancient kind of paper and put it between ur lips and press with ur lips.. hahaha
fourth step: put perfume at neck area
fifth step: put eye lashes and flicker ur fingers at ur eye to show that the eyelashes are flickering
sixth step: do ur hair, after u bundle up, put a chopstick in between...

quite difficult right? then the last person catch it until like, someone's bathing or wadever. so funny. i laugh and laugh til pi gun niao liu! haha

then i was the second person, isaac was infront of me, he practically say out everything so that i can catch it. after that the second round, it was my turn to start the message! luckily now, it's three girls. (since there are three groups) luckily my turn is easier, just sign 7 words:
frog jump, bird sing and fish swim (grammatically wrong but understood) quite easy lah. but still got people sign til very funny. quite a nice game which tells us that, must always relay down the message correctly, esp when communicating with the deaf.

after that, actually can go home le, but the five of us requested lily to finish the song. oh the song she taught us was: paint my love by michael learns to rock. quite a slow song so we can catch the signs she taught us. actually song signing doesnt have to be exact in SEE. cuz it's the public who views it and the public don't know sign language, they could only listen to the words of the song to understand what is the meaning of the song. so the content of the signing could be modified in the way that the public can visualise better. now then i understand. sooner or later i must get this song in my handphone=)

wanted to ask lily to sign if we hold on tgt so that we can record down. hai. but she gave us her name card. very very nice! with a picture of her playing xylophone. she is promoting deaf awareness thru music, songs and instruments. so cool! i hope she is my instructor for BS 2 too...
she makes sign lang very relaxing to learn and she always teaches us more.

but, even though lily didnt sign the song second time, she "signed" on my results slip, literally, as in "signature" on my results slip. yey! isaac said he want to frame it up.. arh, let him frame! haha...

today my lesson very wonderful right? got signing, song signing and funny games too=)
