Hari ini menarik

Today is an interesting day, and a lovely monday!

Today I just need to go to school for one lesson, how great! Today I shall stop blogging for my complaints about my normal and usual complains.. let me share some interesting stuff, or rather, not related to any.. studies. "(Will that neighbour please stop smoking? )"

I was up quite early today. I realised that it is very bad to stay up late at night for studying, then the next day couldn't wake up for school. So, I know it's quite late in the semester now. But, it is a good habit to sleep early and then be able to wake up for school the next morning, energetically.

I was on the bus 174 to school. I wanted to take out my malay book to study, but I was like.. in a daze in the bus, looking at the scenery outside. Then, I saw a reflection of the guy infront of me reading a page which looks familiar. "Bayi itu menangis." So I take a peep and he was studying malay, same as me! He wores a red shirt (Hmmm, I like wearing red too!) and with the words higher up on the back of his shirt saying "We endure..."

Then, I went to catch 179A, for the nth time in mondays I take a nonair con bus again and the driver was frantically fanning himself with his newspaper. I reached school quite fast. Prof talked about social psychology and the first part was on relationships, love, dating. Something which I am interested in ever since I watched several Taiwan variety shows talking on this type of topic. Something I call the Love psychology. Well, I think I'm planning to take Social Psych in place of abnormal psychology. Plus Developmental Psychology. And Issues and concerns in adolescence. It's like... hey hey.. so interesting. similar to those stuff I heard were being discussed in those talk shows. I can see Social psychology waving to me!!!

And there's something I learnt today about the bystander effect. The more people they are in a surrounding, the longer an injured person (or people in pain etc) will call for help for people to come and rescue them. Surprisingly. I wonder if that's true in Singapore society. I wonder if that really happens to me...

After lesson, I went to yunnan to buy some stuff before I head home for lunch my mum is going to surprise me with. I ran for the bus again because I just want to faster reach home. When I reached the interchange, I saw 174 bus lights up and the 179 was stopped so far away. I ran for the bus, with my sandals stepping loudly, "piak, piak, piak, piak..." I was in time for the bus, took out my wallet, and started to tap but apparently it is so unsensitive that the scanner cannot scan. At this moment, there was an Auntie behind me who ran for the bus as I do. But she fell down at the platform with a loud noise. Her NTUC stuff somehow stucked under it and she took quite few seconds to get up. I was the only one infront of her, with the bus driver saying "OH!" looking at her aloofly. What am I doing? I was looking at the scanner but still didn't scan my card. I quickly took out my card and scan. Then stunned there for like 1 or 2 seconds. I walked up to her and asked her if she was okay. Then she energetically replied, "Ke Yi! Bu yong jin!" I wanted to help her carry her stuff but she just got up then... tap her card and rested on the priority seat. With a few other passengers behind me. I guess, I would have been so bad, staring at her, and just walked up the seat like that. I don't know if I was doing a good deed then because I didn't offer help but I stood there. I only know at that instant, Prof Cheng came into my mind with her explanation of bystander effect. -_-"

I found a seat. Then the same guy with the red shirt sat infront of me again, "WE ENDURE!", doing the exact same thing. Reading his malay textbook. I guess he is a stranger stressing me out lor. But this time he is reading what Karen showed me today at the lecture. The translation comprehension part. HAHA! What an interesting fate.
