Hook on to this song lately. I know it is CNY soon but I am always listening to out-of-the-festive-season songs.
It's the new year again. Not so long since I'm back, but I guess I have been adjusting to life back in SG well. But, if I could change something, I would definitely ask for a new NOSE!
The moment I step onto Singapore and had my first night sleep in my room, my block nose and dry throat starts to come all over again. I don't have this kind of problem during the 4 months I'm away. But always THIS PROBLEM all the time in SG.
Alright, I know I shouldnt' be ranting at the start of the new year. I have been a pig these days, especially weekends when I have absolutely nothing to do. Eat then sleep, sleep then eat. Plus, my block nose and cough, and the heat these days, is getting on my nerves.
Well, every year I had new year resolutions but I never completed any. This year, I shall not have any resolutions. I almost slept through the new year. I slept the whole night away after I ate my dinner on the 31st. Wake up to bathe, eat again, and went down to countdown, for a simple 10 minutes. I decided long since I am back not to have any resolutions. Because, I just want to restart my whole busy life as a student, as a daughter, as a Singaporean, as a friend, as a teacher, all again.
Perhaps, that's my only wish this year, as mentioned in the lyrics.
2011 was an eye opener. Especially my 4 months far far away. Seeing too much life, colours of human beings, the diversity of things around us, the variety of differences. It really, sets me into thinking, reflecting about certain differences I had. I've realised alot, learnt alot. And I hope I can put into good use in 2012. To be more focused in what ever I want to do.
2012! Come on! I'm ready for you!!!
