my first day at work

i received a call from hillgrove today asking me to go down for ad hoc relief...
at 7am.. i jumped out of the bed to answer this call
it's like i have been waiting for this call since last wed when i missed the call
at least, i must go down and experience one time!

i went down to school... and saw fellow students preparing to go up to class
i went and look for sophia and filled up all the admin forms.
and rush me to class
the first class i got was 2e2, the miss ivy ng is not here today
they went along and proceed with their class deco
two periods
then when bell rang i thot i need to wait for the next teacher to come
then before knowing my back was facing the door,
and it was MR CHUA on the door..
wa...赢了lor...

so it was free period for me.
went to GO to complete my forms.
but as i came out of the class
i saw sean coming out from the next class..
he told me to take a rest at the level one staff room
but i don have the access pass
so i got it from this nice lady called mdm cynthia
but actually she asked me to wait at GO for next lesson...
hahaha.. now that i got the pass i can go rest at the nice nice staff room
the staff room so quiet...
i didnt dare to make a noise while going in..
kinda strange when i stepped in.

so bell rang i went up for the next lesson

they didnt know i am the relief teacher until i kinda look at them
and whats more ... still talking bad stuff behind their teacher
alright, this class was ok just that they like to run about
and i took one of their wooden ruler which one of them was playing with it
some of the students quite cute lah
luckily a teacher came to my rescue to keep the volume down
she was miss quek and wanted to promote her CCA band...
hai.. so sad .. she so tall i so short..
of cuz students not scared of me mah..
if i pump up my height like also the same leh..
no big difference

so the class quieten down and took out a book and read
this silence wont last long..
one period only..

then as i came out i saw weekheng and he is also the first day here!
caught up with him for awhile and went to the staff room and chitchat
we saw miss chew and went to greet her

thinking abt the next period makes me annoyed
4 periods of DNT with 2t1!
they are still ok .. chatting among their cliques initially
but playing true or dare (they called it true or false)
but then after two periods the home mac teacher came and they made a big fuss out of everything
i went to the toilet for awhile and they started fighting
nearly got myself into hot soup
she suggested to call the DM up but lesson's almost over...
they just wont listen to what the teacher says and when she showed them videos
they just turn their ears off
i just wonder how does teachers manage to take control of them
i wont be able to handle this type of mess

haha.. at the same time i was thinking ..
s25 isnt that good too arh?? in fact more riots than them!

they are still young lah.. give them more time

i pity those who really want to study and score good grades but got distracted by them
the home mac teacher got me to write down all their names in the class diary

嗨.. 好难过的4节课哦！

then it was assembly and was supposed to take charge of class
but they change their instructions and didnt inform me
so nvm.. saw crystal along the way

so wee kheng was accompanying me for the assembly
and the teacher presented sth abt YOG and olympics..
heard it like so many times already

in the meanwhile
my shoe is getting from bad to worse..
the back of the shoe fall and the front ribbons start to fall off..
was hiding behind some people so that the other senior teachers wont notice it haha!

after that i can go home liao!
i went back to the staff room to take my bag
saw sean busy preparing lessons...
i forgot what i have learnt in sec 2!
he asked us a question and i didnt know how to answer.. haha
well he's quite nice!
MR CHUA came in again...
then talk talk talk to another teacher...
mention my name...
he said: 不是在叫你啦！
wah... 又赢了lor.. nv fail to bully me haha (no offence)
then i know there is another teacher called jia xin too!

sth makes me happy is that
i don recognise them and they greeted me along the way too!
this is the passion that every teacher should have and what gives them satisfaction is that students are nice and warm to them isnt it?

but do i look like a teacher???
one of the students asked me: 为什么你这么矮，你sec 1而已ah?
so sad right... nvm i look young! haha

i wonder how is it like teaching in JC!

so i went back BAREFOOTED without my shoes on...
cuz it was torn and tattered..
first day so sad.... but it's nice la.
at least can catch up with some of the nice and good teachers
this is sth that i will always remember in hillgrove
teachers, council, choir ...

miss chong asked me: jia xin, how's ur first day?
