Mathematical induction? Electronic induction? Chemical induction? NO! IT's the MOE induction.
I have no idea why they call this meet up session an induction. More of which is information session for us.
Had to squeeze on the super crowded trains towards JE which explains why I was late, sorry SJ!!! We reached there on the dot so we wanted to grab the back seats. However, the personnel there ask us to move infront. Then talk and introduce and talk and talk. One of the officer is so young and was already working in the top division. Well he resembles one of my JC classmate, skinny skinny small small de. (Guess who? =P)
Then it was tea break but before that the session end quite early but the food's not ready yet. So we slack there for like half an hour before we queued for tea break. As usual, I'm the slow eater. Not feeling any urge for food at all unlike at work. Then talk and talk and got bombarded by all the WOW terms, acronyms by this principal. Cant absorb anything but sat there restlessly. Then was this PGDE prof introducing the PGDE programme to us. She made an interesting and humourous short speech. Then there was this friend whom I just met said that she was the interest speaker she ever seen. Well, I thought Mr Dennis Yeo was really better instead! Then it was lunch. What long hours we have and sit there to rock before the next programme starts. Was wondering why can't they just shift the program up by half an hour or something so that everybody can go back earlier? =N
I saw some seniors and friends especially Ikhsan. What a coincidence because I have just emailed him recently with regards to the Pioneer Night Study Program which I have made up my mind to go back and help the students.
Then it was this Math talk by the curriculum specialists. With all the bombarding terms of Math making my brain pain again. Then the most relevant parts were only the applicable modules that we can choose to take in our undergraduate years. Then we have many questions regarding our tracks (both my JC track and my MAS track). What kind of modules I should take so that it's relevant to the syllabus? The personnel doesn't seem too familiar with it at all. So a few of us discussed it and one of this guy happen to walk up and share his experience with us. From there I happen to know a going to year 3 senior from MAS! What a coincidence! and a junior too... We had many queries because many of us wanted the JC track.
With great power comes great responsibilities. I hope from now onwards. I'm strongly geared on towards acheiving my goals without anymore rubbish distractions!
It feels 100% lighter to let out everything I had for so many years! Thank you very much=)
