Something wrong with my eye these days after appreciation dinner. Perhaps, I didn't get enough rest or something. It may be a 眼针 on my left eyelids. But I think now it has healed alot already.
Have been working these days. On Monday I was under two staff. Shifting the work load here and there. Was sorting different types of accounts stuff like cheque payment, purchase order (PO), delivery order (PO), tax invoices, statement of accounts. Especially statement of account under another staff, it took me the whole day to do it. Because there are simply too many companies to sort one by one with according to months. I used up their paper clips and went to the HR to draw one box. Then it made me realised what my primary school chinese teacher said, have you ever wondered who invented paper clips? Though it is just a small tool in our everyday life that it remain so insignificant. A triangle piece of thing made with wire. Low cost, easy to make. But indeed, it is of a great use to us. In preventing papers from flying, to categorise certain categories of paper, as a bookmark and all sort of other uses. Today, paper clips have evolved in many shapes and patterns, for decoration purposes. Seems like when I was doing sorting and rearranging, this triangle thing inspire me alot of with certain small and insignificant things we don't usually notice in everyday life ya? I just love triangle paper clips!
Today I used SAP! Actually I have been using it to do stuff but today... I used it for one whole day. Like a office girl sitting infront of the computer, fakingly to be busy. HAHA! Actually I don't know what is going on, I just do what the colleague wants me to do. I think she is rather stress, because the way she gives me instruction is like the bullet train kind. But working under her is interesting, because I can learn to use SAP and also doing different things instead of asking me to do the same stuff again. Actually I just use the programme there to match the statement of accounts and invoices ref number. It takes me the whole day to do it. But I feel a great sense of satisfaction as my goal is approaching. That is, I wanna learn something out of this job =)
Today this auditor, this guy... must be an auditor, keep approaching me. Maybe he feels like I'm a permanent finance dept there. He keep asking me questions about accounting documents which I don't know how to answer. So I ask him to ask the other because I'm only a temp staff. Then the next moment he approached me again because my lao ban niang (the colleague whom I'm currently under) is busy talking to other people. And coincidentally he saw me using SAP so he assumed that I know SAP. HAHA! So funny. But he is a nice guy, which staff will initiate to talk to me?
Oh ya... my lao ban niang, stress enough to do things herself. Ask me to call this company and ask for their statement of accounts in May. So I successfully made the call. Not confident enough to say anything or let others know what I am saying HAHA! Then I successfully ask for it and I think they ask to fax or something. So embarrassing to showcase my weakness of NOT knowing what is my company's tel and fax number in front of another company. But luckily the lady talks to me in a nice tone. So I have to disturb my the other colleague and ask her for the phone number. So thick skinned. I don't know where is the fax machine, hopefully they got it faxed. Otherwise my stress lao ban niang will keep pestering me for that. And also, she asked me to look for a needle in the hay stack. Spent the whole afternoon the other day looking for the invoices she wants. Actually somehow she is nice but I'm afraid under her because I keep doing the wrong things and blur move, then will have to complicate things for her. Since she is so stressed enough, I hope I can understand her requirements. Just like SAP, one shot I have to digest how to use the system when I have zero knowledge of it. Always for the first time, I will struggle with it. Just like the first time when I have to print job details, end up I go print job summary. End up, I have to re print everything again. Fortunately, she is a nice lady who doesn't reprimand me but will laugh at me instead. HAHA! But working under her is interesting! Because I can get to learn alot of new things. *Winks*
Wonder how each day is like when I finished each day's of her work, then the new day have to request for new things to do. And every morning I will forward her emails and go ebuddy. During lunch time I happen to know that this company blocks msn and facebook, but somehow there is reformatting of the system before. One can enter msn and facebook. They are afraid these stuff affect efficiency. However, back in PJ, majority of them are on msn and facebook all the time, even watching youtube! Haha, you know I know ;)
Tomorrow is a Friday! I finally love weekends, they are time for me to rest and chill.
Hopefully I can find enough time to catch up with stuff.
By the way, it's so long since I upload pictures. These are two pictures taken from my company's office lobby toilet next to the lift. Nice view and experience working in an industrial estate with industrial activities around.
