Thankfully, history didn't repeat itself today. I boarded the bus with success! With my new colleagues, and I look out like a giraffe (my neck is already long enough haha!) for a purple bus with an AT driver. This driver go cut hair yesterday. Haha. Gonna redeem my $10 back... by lots of hardwork. HAHA!
I'm like a soccer ball. People snatching all over, that they require my help in doing things. I'm attached to HS for these 3 days. Then to another AP, then don't know to who. Finally the manager doing accounts. Looking forward to learn more new things rather than sorting out thick thick documents everyday. Imagine the invoices are as thick as my french textbook! Don't know how many piles are there. I basically have to sort out 1 and 1/2 whole cupboards of it. 1 stack at the top. Don't know how many stacks at the bottom. But my first task today was to sort some documents and send for photocopying. I stood there photocopying alot of documents. Feel so paiseh but that's understood la haha. But the photocopying machine is so ghostly cool! It can finish internet printing jobs, as a scanner even in the feeder, can lock by password... Then while I was photocopying, some unknown document sent by other people can get printed out, which explains why I said it was ghostly cool. And I straight away know that it was somebody else using the printer, though it can really disrupt my photocopying. I'm glad to learn how to use the different photocopier fast. Haha!
I sort out all the thick thick documents the whole day. For lunch, HS and another colleague brought me out to the company opposite us to eat. Soxal, an oxygen company. We ate the fried chicken rice, though it was dry. But nice, and the hot honey lemon was nice! Very glad to have colleagues eating with me and most importantly, talk to me without any barriers...
Had a little bit of back pain bending down all the time to carrying documents and putting them down. Oh! And I have, for the first time, seen how to use the typewriter. Nowadays, it seems rare to see people using it. Very interested to know how it works. It has a backspace function too! So don't really have to worry about where goes wrong. I hope I have the chance to learn how to use it! I sat right in front of it today. Since I know nobody is sitting there with the typewriter and checkwriter. Perhaps it could temporary be my space! The table is filled with all 'my' thick stuff. I hope I can finish sorting them all out by tomorrow and get rid of them. I just realised, being an accountant is never ending. Accounting jobs are never ending, unless the world ends. Luckily I didn't quite choose that path. But I'm glad I still have an opportunity to learn before I am restricted to work and really step into teaching in the future. *Winks!
Oh... My South Korea...
