I also asked about my teaching subjects which I failed to ask during the interview. He says quite a number of students wanted econs to be second teaching subject but it wasn't offer if I were to be an MAEC student. He says MAEC will not have that kind of rigour in the subject compared to an MAS student. I can teach social studies which is something close to economics. And he asked me if I am not comfortable with the subject physics? I laughed and said, no lah, I'm just asking and trying my luck, will give it a consideration. But why go through all the trouble, in the end can't teach econs. But to me, humanities is not so bad after all, social studies is good! It's about culture and all things. But in a secondary school!
